She's still grinding (Lurissa).... TEAMPRETTY STYLE! Another job well done & fun with the support of ME & Azana. Shot Out to Bentley on Make Up. I got a chance to get creative with the challenge of Lurissa's choice of hair for the model Rhonda. Right away when the style & color came close to finish, I knew to channel inspiration from Debbie Gibson's Electric Youth Vintage Perfume Bottle. Weird, I know but it's what I saw and felt... in spite of other's input at location, or the hair salon rather.
I rocked with MY vision of what would best fit that hair do out of 3 different looks she was previously fitted for. I broke up a 1 piece vintage black sequin long sleeved off the shoulder mini dress with a lizard/leopard print waist scarf to create shape & compliment rhonda's skincolor without taking away from the BOLD GREEN in her VOLUME ENHANCED CRIMPED BOB.I Paired the look with a simple but bold gold earring & cuff set.
80's pop inspiration...presence, character... Playful paterns! Ironically with the Facebook trend of supporting the stop of child abuse, I started going through the popular 80's cartoon show characters from the show JEM and found a lot of similarities there too! TO BE SPECIFIC, THE AFRICAN AMERICAN DRUM PLAYING CHARACTER SHANA.To support the VISION INTENDED IVE ATTACHED SOME PICS OF THE CHARACTER AS WELL. Crazy, but fun & INNOVATIVE compared to most of the other looks put together in the mag that had an almost PRE-MEDITATED SUGGESTION. I'm content in the fact There's a youthful but RETRO, bold, RAW risk that's very apparent in our collboration. xoxo Ginna! PS- If Sara Boo was there, the NAILS would have knocked it out the box! Just look at this fab purse she picked out to display all the way over in ITALY!! Were internationally in sync, lol. The Model Rhonda could have thrown this on & rocked a few frames too!
